“Bleed” and Printing on Flap with Business Envelopes
Envelopes that print to the edge of the paper (known as “Full Bleed”) either require additional material and time to complete or require full conversion.
If your envelope only bleeds on 2 sides we may be able to print the envelope on a preformed envelope stock. We would need to review your artwork to determine if that can be done. The additional charge for a two sided bleed is a minimum charge of $50.00. If your envelope bleeds on 3 or more sides then your envelope will require conversion (printing a flat sheet then converting to the required size). Printing on the flap of an envelope requires us to extend the flap and then close the flap once we have completed the printing process. The minimum charge is $40 and/or $40 per 1000.
