Our small 4×6 postcards are great for Save the Date, Business Reply Mail and Business Announcements. Printing this postcard in full color is cheap and it’s the only size post card that you can mail at a cheap 1st class presort rate with USPS if you are mailing 500 or more cards. Price Terms
- Prices Include: Review of your files by our prepress group and a single electronic proof. Printing of the postcards is either full color both sides (4/4) or full color one side and black ink other (4/1) and printed on 100# gloss cover which is 9PT or better (house stock). Shipping via UPS or common carrier is not included. Rates will vary on weight and service level. Shipping point is Milwaukee, WI.
- Mailing Services: The additional cost includes: use of our mail indicia (1st or 3rd class presort), data administration/Cass Certify, inkjet/sort, USPS paperwork & delivery to Milwaukee Post Office. A mailing list and actual postage is not included.
- Proofs: If more than one electronic proof is requested/required an additional charge of $25.00 per proof may be added. Hardcopy digital proof is $45.00. A hardcopy Matchprint proof (on special proofing paper) is $80.00. With either hardcopy proof the price includes next day delivery in one direction. The hardcopy proof must be returned to us prior to print production.
- Printing Method: For quantities 2500 or less digital printing is used and quantities of 5000 or more will be printed on one of our offset presses.
- Production Time: Our standard production is 5 business days from time of proof approval. For rush production, please call us at 888-940-7070.
- Design Services: Our hourly rate is $70.00 per hour billed in ¼ hour increments.
- Custom Service: Custom quotes can be provided for custom sized postcards, different paper stock, 1 & 2 color printing, and custom bindery services. Please use the online quote request clearly describing your needs or call us at 888-940-7070.
- Payment and taxes: We accept for payment all major credit cards, cashier’s check or bank wire transfer. Postage paid via credit card is charged 2.5% of the actual postage. Sales tax is added only in Wisconsin.
Discount Printing Company for Full Color 4x6 Postcards
Printing 4×6 postcards are cheap because larger printers can print a lot of cards at one time. This saves you money with the actual print production whether you are doing one, two or full color printing. This is also true if you need a short-run print job with a 4”x6” card, because these can be done digitally at a very cost effective price.
When it comes to postage with a 4×6 post card it is the only size that is cheaper to mail 1st class presort versus 3rd class presort. In addition, with this class postage your piece will get delivery anywhere in the United States within two to five mailing days. You do need to have at least 500 qualifying pieces to mail at first class presort. The postage cost is between $0.251 and $0.278 per card. (Note: If you are doing a saturation mailing then third class presort postage will be cheaper.)
A number of businesses will use this size card either for business announcement (i.e. moving to a new location, see us at a trade show or convention or for a service reminder) or as a save a date for a business meeting or seminar.
Also, this size postcard is the standard for business reply mail which is used for service warranty cards, sales literature and service request cards, etc. Business reply mail does require a special mail indicia and barcode which an organization must apply for through the US Postal Service. Once a business reply mail account is setup, any mail that is returned the actual cost of the postage will be automatically deducted from that business’s postal account.
If you need graphic design services for a four by six post card it can normally be done in less than 1.5 hours. Our hourly rate is $70.00 per hour billed in ¼ hour increments. You just need to put together what you want to say and provide any logos or pictures and we will take it from there. Having that professional look will make all the difference!
We are able to offer cheap short run postcards with our digital presses and with large runs our offset presses will give that great full color look. Our standard house stock is 100# gloss cover which is glossy both sides. You can request other cover stock as a special quote request.
We are a full service mail house providing mailing services nationwide out of our Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility. A 4×6 card mailer will arrive in the Midwest (Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan in 2 mailing days. For the East Coast mail will arrive in 3 to 4 mailing days and for the West coast it will arrive in 4 to 5 mailing days.
